Photography exhibition at Stratford Circus

A retired lecturer who has spent the last two decades photographing musicians is holding his first exhibition at Stratford Circus this month.
Robin Little started his career as a sound engineer and then moved on to teaching at University of East London.
But in 1995, Robin decided to take a new turn, and developed an interest in photography.
He said: “As well as photographing musicians, I have taken a wide variety of images including landscapes and objects.
“So, the exhibition is a mixture of musicians and other things I have captured on camera throughout the years.”
In the last twenty years, Robin has worked with Redferns Music Picture Library and Getty Images.
However, in the last year, Robin has reviewed his archive and compiled some of his best work together for the exhibition.
“So far the reactions have been really great.
“Not all the musicians are famous and can be recognised but the ones who are will usually get attention from passing visitors,” Robin said.
“For my first exhibition, it has been a learning curve, but it’s been great and very fulfilling.”
The exhibition has been set up in the foyer spaces at Stratford Circus until may 30.
