Bearskins and bare skin were on display when saucy Crazy Horses dancers from Paris arrived to promote their debut show in London.
Dancers from the saucy Crazy Horse troupe wore bearskins as they brought their world famous routines to the UK for the first timeThe nearly-naked performers’ show Forever Crazy will premiere on September 18 – to coincide with London Fashion Week - ahead of a three-week residency at a purpose-built venue near the National Theatre on the South Bank.
To help launch the show, the famous dance troupe wore the headgear of the Grenadier Guards and also showed off routines wearing just wigs, sequins and heels.
Promoter Harvey Goldsmith said of Crazy Horse: “It’s an institution, it’s known worldwide and we have been working in fact for over a year to find a venue where we could bring the fabulous Crazy Horse show to London - and we finally found it.”
He added: “This in effect is our antidote to the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics and you couldn’t get a better antidote than this.”
The comedian Eddie Izzard has hit out at London Mayor Boris Johnson whilst maintaining he is ready for the challenge of pursuing politics himself.
