A dance teacher formed part of a hip hop dance crew to audition for a TV talent show.
Louise Davies, 27, from Stratford appeared as part of a 15-strong group called Collective Ent on Sky1’s ‘Got to Dance’ - and got through to the next stage in the audition process to find the country’s most talented dancers.
The group dance a style known as commercial hip hop growing from a collaboration of two groups who thought it would be interesting to mix their styles.
When that was successful, they decided to create a group from dancers of all different backgrounds and scouted for people who they thought had potential - like Louise - and the group had been together for one year before appearing on the show.
He may not have made on to The X Factor but the £1 Fish Man is still a contender for Christmas number one.
