An opportunity to see an early Sherlock Holmes masterpiece on the big screen is coming to Stratford Picturehouse this month.
Written and directed by legendary Billy Wilder in 1970, ‘The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes’ stars Robert Stephens as the eponymous detective solving a mystery that unfolds the diary of Dr Watson, played by Colin Blakely, featuring a turn from notorious villan Christopher Lee as Mycroft Holmes.
‘The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes’ is playing at Stratford Picturehouse, Gerry Raffles Square, E15 on Sunday July 1 and Wednesday July 4 at 4pm.
