London 2012: Jobs promise under the spotlight for film

An hour long film-documentery comparing promises and outcomes around local employment and training is premiered at Stratford Picture House at 1.30pm on July 8 as part of the East End Film Festival.
Builders and The Games is fronted by Aletha Holborough from Newham who got involved as a result of post graduate research she was doing on construction training. Film-makers investigated as far as they could from the outside, visiting construction colleges and looking at the legacy of previous big projects like Canary wharf and Heathrow Terminal Five.
