Turner Prize-winning artist and University of East London programme leader Grenville Davey has left his mark on the Olympic Park in Stratford.
He worked with the Royal College of Art and neighbours to install a series of bell-like objects to a wall along the Central Park Bridge.
Named Inter Alia, the piece is made up of 61 individual brass castings in total, stretching over a 91 metre section of the wall.
It was put up in secret as part of the wider Art in the Park project, a collection of works by artists and residents.
Mr Grenville said: “I am over the moon with the results and am looking forward to reaction from the public when the Games open in July.
“The project has been going on since summer 2008, it’s been a long haul, but great fun.”
Avengers Assemble actor Thom Hiddleston and Doctor Who writer Mark Gatiss are to star in a West End production of Shakespeare’s Coriolanus.
