A Canning Town arts foundation is launching a series of business classes to inspire Newham entrepreneurs.
The ‘Practice Professional’ course, run by the Newham Arts Development Foundation (NADF), will offer six classes over six months but sessions can be booked on an individual basis.
Janine DeFeo, manager of NADF, said: “We’ve invited some of the best teachers from around London to come and help our local artists develop their own business by providing an invaluable insight through the classes on offer.
“The classes are open to absolutely everyone - Newham residents and artists from further afield, amateurs and professionals, artists from the visual, performing and applied arts.
“Topics covered include finding funding, digital strategy in marketing and approaching self-employment.”
Limited spaces are available for the course which will start in October at The Hub, 123 Star Lane, Canning Town.

Rod Stewart has added a second and final show to his ‘Time’ tour at The O2 in London in September.
