What would you do if you had only 14 minutes to save the Earth? A play celebrating its finale at Stratford Circus attempts to answer that question and many more.
“I Love You But We Only Have Fourteen Minutes to Save the Earth”, described as a ‘creative collision of cabaret, live art, and film’, stars avant-garde performer David Hoyle, the reigning Alternative Miss World Fancy Change, and eco-warrior Timberlina battling it out with their apocalypse-defying plans.
The touring production was developed and directed by Nathan Evans in collaboration with Arts Council England.
Nathan said: “It was a challenge to produce my own 14 minutes, and a pleasure to work on my performance with promising young director John East.
“I’m looking forward to working with new artists at Stratford Circus to create another new piece to end our tour - if the world doesn’t end before.”
“I Love You But We Only Have Fourteen Minutes to Save the Earth” is at Stratford Circus, Salway Road, E15 1BX from 7.30pm on Friday November 16.
Tickets are available from www.stratford-circus.com or by calling 0844 357 2625.
Rod Stewart has added a second and final show to his ‘Time’ tour at The O2 in London in September.
