Handball finals grace Dagenham venue

SportHouse will host a London handball derby as they fight it out in the Regional Cup Final.

Entry is free at the Dagenham venue, which will welcome Ruislip Eagles and Thames for the third and fourth place decider at 3.30pm.

But the main event sees newly-promoted Olympia face undefeated Premier League champions London GD in the final.

That follows swiftly on from the England Handball Association cup finals which took place last weekend at Crystal Palace.

Salford saw off Ruislip Eagles 26-22 in the men’s final, while London GD got the better of Thames in the women’s equivalent.

At under-18 level, NEM Hawks beat Olympia Cannock 26-4 to take the girls crown as Tarporley saw off Warrington Wolves 21-15 for the boys.
