England to face New Zealand at Olympic Stadium

Martin Offiah is calling on residents of Essex and east London to cheer England to victory in groundbreaking match at the Olympic Stadium next month.

One of rugby league’s greatest stars, Offiah is calling on sports fans in the capital to give England their backing when they face New Zealand on November 7.

The match against the world’s number one-ranked nation will be the first-ever rugby league game to be played at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.

And league legend Offiah believes the fans can make all the difference to the England team, saying: “New Zealand are the best team in the world at present, but this England team can beat them.

“The support of fans fcould make all the difference. To have a full stadium will inspire the England team and I believe could give them the edge.”

Tickets are priced from only £10 for concessions, providing an affordable means to watch world-class sport at the stadium.

There are great transport links and it is set to be an unforgettable family atmosphere.

The three-game series against New Zealand starts at the KC Stadium, Hull on November 1 (5pm) and moves to The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on November 7 (2.30pm) before concluding at the DW Stadium, Wigan on November 14 (1pm).
