London Lions were crushed 93-64 at the home of British Basketball League leaders Worcester Wolves.

The championship’s top rebounder Will Creekmore poured in 20 points as his side did the double over the capital club to earn their 12th win in 15 games this season.

Vince Macaualay’s men had hoped to close the gap at the summit of the league but their second reverse on the spin - and largest of the campaign - now leaves them six points adrift in the title race.

Kramer Knutson accounted for 17 of London’s points but his side trailed after every quarter, with a 15-2 run in the second proving decisive for Worcester.
