Diving: Waterfield finished in 23rd

Peter Waterfield’s Olympic dreams are over after his second dive cost him a place in the 10 metre platform.

The Walthamstow born diver finished 23rd after six rounds and Tom Daley was only 15th as the Brits struggled.

Indeed, the former silver medallist finished 27 points off David Boudia in 18th – the final qualifying position.
