Tottenham playmaker Mousa Dembele is a doubt for Sunday’s Premier League game against West Ham despite making his comeback from a month-long hip injury lay-off at Lazio last night.

Dembele still does not feel 100% despite his second-half appearance in the Stadio Olimpico and may start on the bench this weekend.

Emmanuel Adebayor starts a three-match suspension while long-term absentees Scott Parker (Achilles), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) remain sidelined.

Provisional Tottenham squad: Friedel, Lloris, Gomes, Cudicini, Walker, Naughton, Gallas, Caulker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Townsend, Falque, Carroll, Mason, Livermore, Sandro, Huddlestone, Dembele, Bale, Dempsey, Defoe.
