Tottenham v West Ham line-ups

Michael Dawson will start his first Premier League game of the season as Tottenham look to end their slump with victory over West Ham at White Hart Lane.

William Gallas is dropped to the bench and Hugo Lloris retains his place in goal after his midweek heroics against Lazio. Mousa Dembele starts among the substitutes.

West Ham name the same XI that drew with Stoke on Monday, but Matthew Jarvis was deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.

Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen, Huddlestone, Sandro, Lennon, Dempsey, Bale, Defoe.

Subs: Friedel, Gallas, Naughton, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Livermore, Carroll.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen, O’Brien, Tomkins, Reid, McCartney, Maiga, Diame, O’Neil, Noble, Nolan, Carroll.

Subs: Spiegel, Jarvis, Cole, Taylor, Collins, Demel, Moncur.

Referee: Andre Marriner (W Midlands)
