O’s frontman hoping to carry on where he left off against Crawley Town on Boxing Day.
Leyton Orient striker Chris Dagnall is after more of the same from the O’s as they make the trip to Yeovil Town tonight.
The O’s picked up a vital three points with a 4-1 victory over Crawley Town on Boxing Day, with Dagnall scoring twice.
And fresh from the confidence-boosting win, the former Barnsley forward hopes Fabio Liverani side can carry on where they left off against Crawley when they take to the pitch at Huish Park tonight in the hope of ending the year on a high.
“The good thing is we have got a game in a couple of days so the confidence is high and we will take that into Yeovil away,” said Dagnall.
“If we can replicate our performance from Boxing Day there’s no reason why we can’t get another three points.
“We’ve got one big game out of the way with the three points and a result at Yeovil will give everyone a massive lift so that we can push on in January.”
Yeovil are confident the game will go ahead despite temperatures dipping to -7c last night.
Covers were placed over the most affected areas of the pitch before the frost arrived, and though temperatures are set to dip below freezing around the 7.45pm kick-off time, the Glovers believe the game will go ahead as planned.
Stadium manager James Hillier, told the Western Gazette: “The groundsman covered the worst area yesterday and there was obviously a lot of frost on that area.
“The groundsman is very confident with the sun that’s now on it. The frost is now melting so we will take off the covers a little later and have another look.”
