Team news as Leyton Orient head to Yeovil Town tonight.

Leyton Orient boss Fabio Liverani admits he will make changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s ‘massive’ League One game at Yeovil Town.

The O’s beat Crawley Town 4-1 on Boxing Day, but with the short space of time in between fixtures the Italian will rotate his squad for the trip to the side bottom of League One.

“It is a massive game for both teams because we are near each other in the table,” said Liverani.

“We are going to make some changes because it is only 72 hours until the next game. Some of the players kept playing against Crawley even if they would have liked to be substituted so they cannot keep playing in such a short time frame. It is very important.”

Shaun Batt came off in the first half of the win over the Red Devils with an Achilles problem, while goalkeeper Adam Legzdins was also forced off with a shoulder injury

The Crawley game was the first start for Italian left back Andrea Dossena in a month, while Dean Cox was also replaced with a back problem

The likes of David Mooney, Gary Woods and Gary Sawyer are waiting in the wings if Liverani opts for changes as Kevin Lisbie also returned to the squad in the Boxing Day win.

“Finally we had Dagnall and Mooney available,” added Liverani. “These players have missed recent games and it has cost us.

“Slowly we are recovering the injured players who will be back available in the future.

“Unfortunately there have been other injuries and we had to substitute Batt shortly into the game and Cox had a back problem and the goalkeeper a shoulder problem. This is another aspect we are going to be working on a lot.”

Skipper Nathan Clarke (thigh) and Gianvito Plasmati (hamstring) are doubts for the O’s, while Jay Simpson and Marvin Bartley are likely to miss out again through injury. Darius Henderson (foot and ankle) and Lloyd James (broken lef) remain long-term absentees.

Yeovil Town boss Gary Johnson’s selection may be influenced by the FA Cup tie with Manchester United on Saturday, though Jordan Clarke (hamstring) and Kieffer Moore (ankle) are both doubtful for tonight’s match.
