Orient’s last three games against Carlisle have ended in crushing 5-1, 4-1 and 4-1 for the O’s

But the Cumbrians’ boss Graham Kavanagh is confident thos games will have no bearing on tomorrow’s meeting at Brisbane Road.

“It may make a difference for them – they will have great confidence and they beat us convincingly at the start of this season and also last season,” said Kavanagh.

“But previous to that we have had some decent results against them.

“I remember Lee Miller getting a couple of goals down there.

“But from my point of view we don’t go into games worrying about the opposition. It’s more about what our capabilities are and if we are able to reach them.

“If we are, we will give most teams in the league a run for their money.”

Kavanagh was not in charge of Carlisle for any of those meetings, replacing the sacked Greg Abbott in September.

Orient manager Russell Slade believes the game will be a different prospect, and sites the change in management as tightening up tomorrow’s visitors at the back.

A first away win since October would lift the Cumbrians clear of the relegation zone, who are currently three points above the safety line.

Kavanagh said: “We’ll be underdogs quite clearly, we’re away from home, they are up at the top of table, but these are games where, if you pick up points, you can see them as bonus points and they can give real impetus to the players.”

The Cumbrians are without Paul Thirlwell and Danny Livesey with calf injuries while veteran striker Danny Cadamarteri has a knee complaint.

Likely Carlisle line-up: Fleming; Potts, Ehmer, O’Hanlon, Robson; Berrett, Noble, Buaben; Lawrence, Amoo, Guy.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.
