Leyton Orient midfielder Romain Vincelot insists the O’s are keen to take out their anger at the lack of points at home on Rochdale tomorrow.
The O’s have played just four of their 12 fixtures so far this season at Brisbane Road, but are yet to record a victory and have only scored once in the process.
But despite the bad statistic, the Frenchman insists the O’s are eager to take out their frustrations from Tuesday night’s 1-0 Capital One Cup third round defeat to Sheffield United.
“It’s really frustrating but then five minutes after when I was in the dressing room we said lets take this frustration out in the league game on Saturday, it is all you can do,” said Vincelot.
“That’s what is good about England, you play every three days so that is perfect. In the league we want to build on the last two performances which were very good away from home.”
It was a fine season last term for the O’s as they just missed out on promotion, but the home form may have slightly played a factor in their inability to hold on to an automatic spot.
They lost seven games at Brisbane Road in comparison to just three on their travels. And though they are still winless in this campaign at home, Vincelot feels the O’s are not under any added pressure in front of the home faithful.
“It’s not adding more pressure yet because we have had a lot of away games,” said Vincelot.
“It is frustrating at the moment, but we don’t think before the game ‘Oh, we have to make it right at home. We’ve been poor so far.’
“It’s still too early. We want to give the fans what they deserve – a good win and a good feeling. It’s going to be on Saturday.”
