Double joy for O’s Academy.

Leyton Orient Academy duo Sam Roach and Jay Beckford have been called up for an England under-16 training camp next month.

Roach and Beckford, who have both been awarded scholarships at Brisbane Road, will head to St George’s Park in the New Year for their latest international experience.

The pair have already been involved with the national squad earlier in the season, and they followed in the footsteps of O’s goalkeeper Charlie Grainger, who made his England under-18 debut back in March.
