O’s keeper picked up injury in 4-1 Boxing Day win over Crawley Town.

Leyton Orient goalkeeper Adam Legzdins is set for a spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder.

The 28-year-old was forced off after 70 minutes of the 4-1 Boxing Day win over Crawley Town, being replaced by Gary Woods.

Woods took his place in the starting line-up for last night’s 3-0 win at Yeovil Town, before the former Derby goalkeeper confirmed the extent of the injury on his Twitter account earlier today.

“Thanks for all your concerns regarding my injury!dislocated my shoulder in 4-1 victory on B’Day and recovery/rehab plan already underway,” said Legzdins.

The keeper has played 11 games for the O’s since joining in the summer, and has already missed two and a half months earlier on in the season after fracturing a finger in training at the end of August.

Legzdins is not the first Orient player to dislocate a shoulder this season, with striker Kevin Lisbie having returned to the matchday squad in the last two games after picking up the same injury in the goalless draw with Bristol City back in August.
