The Essex County FA have lent its support to the Level Playing Field (LPF) ‘Weeks of Action’ 2014, which provide a real opportunity to show what the LFP have achieved for disabled football supporters and the wider disabled community.

Campaigning and advisory organisation LFP work on the behalf of all disabled supporters, sharing good practice, raising awareness and promoting improved access to sports stadiums for disabled fans and disabled people who aspire to attend live sporting events.

LPF also use the unique voice of sport to improve access and inclusion for disabled people across a wider society by working alongside sports bodies and the government.

The organisation offer advice to clubs, sporting bodies and individuals. They also run a yearly award scheme recognising people who have made a difference to disabled supporters and provide a professional and cost effective ‘Access Audit’ programme. These are specifically written for sports stadia, venues and arenas.
