Hornchurch & Elm Park Boxing Club are hoping to stage a 20-bout show at Chafford Sports Complex tomorrow (Saturday).

The local club saw youngster Sonny Ali win a second successive National Schoolboys title two weeks ago, while Kelson Mitchell was edged out on points in his final in Liverpool.

Mitchell could appear on tomorrow’s show, which starts at 2pm.

The club hope to have 18 of their junior boxers in action, along with two seniors, and doors open at 1.30pm.

There will be a licensed bar and admission is £10 for adults and £5 concessions.

The Chafford Sports Complex can be found on Lambs Lane South, Rainham, RM13 9DX.
