Goodwin, the 48-year-old owner of successful horse racing syndicate Diamond Racing, predicts: “Goresbrook is going to be packed to the rafters and it will be a very exciting night’s boxing.”

Unbeaten prospect Conquest will face a selected rival in his first eight-rounder in a fight that will be a stepping stone for a championship challenge later this year.

Title honours

Trainer Jason Rowland, former WBU light-welter titleholder, insists that the 26-year- old former England amateur international choice will soon be successfully bidding for title honours.

“Tony is improving rapidly – he listens and learns all the time in the gym.

“I expect him to come through on Saturday and we will be looking to press his claims for a championship bid,” says Rowland who trains his growing stable at the Noble Art gym in Rainham.

Conquest may not have to look for his first title target for Southern Area cruiserweight Champ Leon Williams, based at Canning Town’s TKO gym, also boxes on the bill in his first International contest against the tough David Vicena from the Czech Republic.

Also on the Goresbrook show, popular Yassine El Maachi International Masters light-middleweight Champ faces Argentina’s tough David Lopez.

Pat McAleese TKO gym light-middleweight puncher with just one defeat in his dozen pro outings meets Spain’s Fran Gonzalez in a six round light-middleweight clash.

There is an impressive list of supporting bouts listed on the programme including unbeaten ex Repton amateur Michael Norgrove in a six- round contest against Czech rival Jan Balog.

Also featured are International Masters Lightweight champion Ryan Barrett and Michael Devine, plus former English title challenger Michael Grant and promising lightweight newcomer “Pretty” Ricky Boylan.
