Former Olympic heavyweight king Audley Harrison is back in town this week and insists his clash with Ali Adams at the Brentwood Centre on Saturday will launch a new assault on the heavyweight division.
“Let’s be honest, I’m in a different league to Adams and after I have given him a lesson I will be looking for a challenge against the likes of David Price and Tyson Fury.” he said.
After a 12-year stop-start pro career, blighted by injuries and other setbacks, the former Repton Olympic hero returns again for a chance to erase the sad memories of his three-round flop against David Haye for the world heavyweight crown 18 months ago at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
The Goodwin Promotions show at Brentwood also includes Yasine El Maachi, Nathan Weise, Philip Bowes, Ryan Taylor, Kris Agyei Dua and Richard Commey in a promising 15-bout programme.
