Christine Ohuruogu and Mo Farah have been nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
The Newham and Essex Beagles athletes are up against eight other hopefuls, and the winner will be decided at a special ceremony on December 15.
Ohuruogu broke the British 400m record to clinch a stunning gold at the World Championships in Moscow in August. It was her third major individual title.
Farah clinched the 5,000m and 10,000m double in Moscow, a year after achieving the same feat at London 2012.
Tennis star Andy Murray is favourite to pick up the gong after becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon since 1936.
The shortest odds on the Scot are 1/25 with firms including Ladbrokes, who are offering 14/1 for Farah and 250/1 for Stratford-born Ohuruogu.
Meanwhile, Keith Gerrard has been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
The event takes place on Sunday (December 8).
