Beckton the latest venue for parkrun events

This Saturday will see the inaugural Beckton District Park run take place.
East End Road Runners and club secretary Paul Lewis was instrumental in setting up the run, after previous success at Wanstead Flats.
Parkrun organise free 5km runs across the country, and Beckton Park is one of the latest to start.
The race will begin at 9am on each and every Saturday and runners of all abilities are invited to participate.
Runners must register at www.parkrun.org.uk/ and can turn up at any event along with a printed barcode off the website.
Results will be published on a results list on the website each Monday.
