The Boundary Commission has announced revised proposals for changes to constituency seats.

The East Ham seat, currently held by Stephen Timms, will consist of Boleyn, East Ham Central, East Ham North, East Ham South, Green Street East, Green Street West, Little Ilford, Manor Park and Wall End wards.

West Ham, held by Lyn Brown, would be abolished, with Canning Town North, Canning Town South, Custom House, Plaistow North and Plaistow South joining six Tower Hamlets wards to make Poplar and Canning Town.

Forest Gate North, Forest Gate South, Stratford and New Town would join five Waltham Forest wards to become Leyton and Stratford, while Beckton and Royal Docks would join nine Barking and Dagenham wards to become Barking and Beckton.
