Staff at Westfield Stratford City celebrated Pancake Day with a huge pancake race.

Nearly 100 chefs from Crêpeaffaire charged through the shopping centre, while flipping the seasonal dish on Monday afternoon, much to amusement of shoppers.

Alyson Hodkinson, general manager of Westfield Stratford City, said: “The pancake race at Westfield Stratford City was a great way to celebrate Pancake Day.

“We’re always looking for fun ways to involve our retailers and customers in events and our Pancake Day race was such fun it looks set to become an annual event!”
