Hosts Great Britain triumphed with 72 gold medals, seeing off close rivals the USA in three spectacular televised finals at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park last week.

Watch a video and picture gallery of some of the highlights during the Games on day 2. And do not miss the exhibition wheelchair rugby match, also called “murderball“, played by Prince Harry and some sports celebrities like: Zara Phillips and her husband, Rugby World Cup winner Mike Tindall, Dame Kelly Holmes and Denise Lewis.
