Vandalism at Stratford leads to severe delays for commuters

Commuters using Greater Anglia services from Gidea Park to Liverpool Street are continuing to suffer disruptions and delays caused by vandalism to a train door this morning.

The 7.19am service from Gidea Park was delayed by 30 minutes this morning when the train was vandalised at Stratford station, causing cancellations and delays to services due to run after the 7.19am.

While some commuters’ were late for work others were forced to use buses to complete their journeys.

A spokeswoman for Greater Anglia said the vandalism had led to severe delays.
