A police appeal for a missing pension has ben brought to a close after she was found safe and well.
Eunice Payne, 78, had been travelling with her son on a route 115 bus to Green Street, Upton Park on Thursday evening.
Because it was crowded he had to sit on the top deck leaving his mother on the lower deck.
But when the 40-year-old alighted from the bus he discovered his mother missing from her seat.
Late last night police reported that Mrs Payne had been found.
Police burst through the doors of 13 suspected gang members today in a series of dawn raids to crack down on street violence.
