A stroke awareness day will be held on May 9 at Newham Town Hall from 1pm until 5pm.
It is being organised by the Newham Stroke Club and will give people the chance to talk to healthcare professionals and community groups about issues that concern them.
Information will be available on a range of health issues as well as blood pressure checks, chair based exercise as well as vascular risk assessement.
