PUBLISHED: 15:53 12 May 2014 | UPDATED: 17:08 12 May 2014

Seven men are wanted for questioning in connection to a stabbing and Newham police are asking for assistance in identifying them.

On Friday, February, 14, just after 01.00am, police were called by Newham CCTV operators to High Street North, East Ham, where they reported a group of males fighting.

On arrival police found a male, aged 26, with stab wounds.

First aid was given on the scene and the male was taken by London Ambulance Service to an East London Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Constable Raf Patel on 020 8217 5859, or call crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference number 5304261.

Assisting with information can help eliminate someone from police enquiries or could remove a criminal from your area.

All information is treated in the strictest confidence.
