The BRIT award-winning artist and actor sang three songs at the event to raise funds for Saint Francis Hospice in Havering.

Sandra Goldsmith organised the event in Rainham Working Men’s Club in memory of Vikki Powell, who died on April 28 this year from breast cancer aged just 32.

Vikki was diagnosed in September 2015, three months after having her second child, and had asked her mother to do a fundraiser in her memory.

Sandra said: “My daughter was a family support worker and loved family life so we chose a family fun day in her memory with things that both children and adults would enjoy.

“Plan B who is a school friend of my son-in-law and my daughter sang three songs to the amazement of people who attended the day.”

The event raised £2,420.
