Nabil Rohman, 16, achieved eight A*s, 3As, and one B in his exams after studying hard for five years at Lister Community School in St Mary’s Road.

Hoping to study Medicine at university, Nabil is going to Seven Kings Sixth Form in Redbridge to take his A Levels.

Nabil contributed to an overall exam success for Lister Community School, with English Language results rising from 63 per cent to 69 per cent.

The school also wanted to congratulate Zeeshan Iqbal who achieved A* grades and Onkar Biggin who also achieved more than 6 A* grades overall.

In total 11 students achieved at least 7 A and A* grades.
