Students at Sarah Bonnell School swapped their uniform for glitz and glamour as they attended their leavers’ prom.

The teenagers were given 150 free dresses by Stratford store David’s Bridal as a reward for excelling in their final year.

Dressed in their new attire, they entered the Deanery Road school on a red carpet and posed for photos and selfies with friends.

“Year 11 prom is one of the most important times in a young girl’s life and it was such a joy to see these girls enjoy their special night in their David’s Bridal dresses,” said Lucy Richards, director of UK merchandising at David’s Bridal.
