Residents are invited to a meeting to propose ‘no fly’ areas over east London at night.
HACAN East - representing people on the Heathrow and London City Airport flightpaths - and Heathrow Airport gathered people to discuss a plan to create ‘no fly’ areas over Newham and Tower Hamlets every other week until 6am to reduce aircraft noise at night.
The meeting will be held at in Ashbee Hall, Toynbee Hall, Tuesday December 4 at 7.30pm in Toynbee Hall, 28 Commercial St, E1 6LS.
Newham Council’s rejection of a planning application for the UK’s biggest mosque is set to be the subject of a public inquiry this year.
