Newham school hosts faiths forum to mark 15th anniversary

Students from Newham joined their colleagues from 14 schools across London as a faiths forum marks its 15th anniversary.

To coincide with the Diamond Jubilee weekend, 3FF (Three Faiths Forum) were at St Bonaventure’s in Forest Gate for a day of inter-communal action and education between people of all faiths and beliefs.

The students from St Bonaventure’s were among who participated, giving them opportunities to learn about different faiths and beliefs and improve their intercultural communication skills.

3FF showcased the innovative programmes education officers run in schools every week to enable young people to communicate sensitively, confidently and effectively with people from different backgrounds.

The events was visited by several London Borough Mayors as well as others eager to learn from 3FF’s education methods.

Brick Lane Comedy Festival cancelled after opposition from community groups
