Newham’s babies of 2013: Baby Lillyann from East Ham

The celebrations are sure to be spectacular to herald the arrival of a baby born into the travelling community in East Ham.
Mother Tanya Power with newborn Lillyan.The family of new mother Tania Power, 21, were overjoyed over the birth of baby girl Lillyann who was born on New Year’s Day at Newham University Hospital at 11.45am weighing 9lbs.
Grandfather John Power was especially enthused as Lillyann is his first grandchild and he was keeping the house warm in Roman Road to welcome mother and baby home.
He said: “She’s absolutely beautiful, she’s got big chubby cheeks! We are having a shindig for that, definitely.”
Tania is currently staying at her mother’s house and she is looking for a new home to bring up baby with her husband.
