Newham folk urged to pack a shoebox of gifts for needy children

11:00 14 November 2012

Just days left for kindhearts of Newham to get their gifts to Operation Christmas Child a charitable campaign which sends present-filled shoeboxes to needy children in developing countries.

Remember to make your box both fun and educational with items that are new.

Hygiene items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, comb, hair clips, bar of soap, flannel etc along with sweets, gloves, scarf, cap, hat, are welcome.

Shoeboxes can be dropped off at the Dagenham Motors showroom at Plaistow Road, Plaistow until Sunday.
