Joseph Sammut,74, from Beckton has been found safe and well

An elderly man, missing from home since Wednesday afternoon, has been fond safe and well.

Joseph Sammut, 74, was reported missing from his home in Savage Gardens, Beckton at about 3pm.

Mr Sammut, who suffers from a variety of medical conditions, was found by a member of the public, yesterday afternoon, and taken to Stratford Police Station.

Although he was in a confused state, he was said to be safe and well.
