Manor Park fire damages window

A fire in a flat above a Manor Park shop in the early hours of Sunday morning partially destroyed a window.

A man, woman and child escaped the flat in Goldsmith Avenue before the Brigade arrived. All three were uninjured.

The brigade was called at 3.53am and the fire was under control by 4.37am.

Crews from East Ham and Ilford fire stations attended the incident.
