Man arrested in connection with Manor Park cemetery murder

Police on the scene of the murder investigation at City of London Cemetery and Crematorium in Manor Park, Newham after a man was found with an injury to his neck.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a man in a Manor Park cemetery.
He is currently in custody at a south London police station.
Peter Charles John, 54, was found unconscious with a neck injury in the City of London Cemetery just after 2pm on Wednesday.
Mr John, of East Acton Lane, Ealing, died later that day in hospital after being taken there by air ambulance.
A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
Police have opened an incident room but are currently keeping an open mind as to the motive.
