Almost a year has passed since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games took the capital — and the nation — by storm with athletes including Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis, David Weir and Sir Bradley Wiggins making it a summer of success for Team GB.

One year on, we want to hear from you about your thoughts and memories from the Games.

Were you one of the lucky ones who got to witness the spectacle in the Olympic Park? Perhaps you were one of the many volunteers who helped make sure the Games ran as smoothly as possible?

You may be a sports coach, knew one of the athletes that took part or simply lived near to one of the celebrated sporting venues dotted about the capital.

What do you enjoy most about the Games and what least? And, most importantly, do you think the promised Olympic legacy has materialised one year on?

Let us know your views by emailing newsdesk@newhamrecorder.co.uk or calling 0208 478 4444 and you could feature in our special supplement marking a year since the London 2012 Olympic Games.
