Local elections 2014: Counting to take place at the Velodrome today

Yesterday’s votes are being counted today at the Velodrome in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The winner of the mayoral election will be announced first, with the result expected at around 1pm.

Prospective ward councillors will find out whether they have been successful later that day, with the results due around 6pm.
