Green Street Local Service Centre will close next month changing the way residents make council payments.
The centre will shut its doors permanently on Friday July 27 as part of a borough-wide move by Newham Council to cut the cost of processing council tax, rents, fines and other payments.
Upton Park residents will be able to make such payments and service bookings at new self-service kiosks in Green Street Library which is due to reopen following refurbishment in July.
Newham Council say the upgraded library will feature an improved layout and deliver a range of services, books, and free internet access in “a bright, modern” setting.

Police burst through the doors of 13 suspected gang members today in a series of dawn raids to crack down on street violence.
