Forest Gate man charged with murder

A man from Forest Gate has been charged with the murder of a woman in a Wolverhampton hotel.

Gurminder Singh, 29, of Green Street, will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with the murder of Amandeep Kaur Hothi.

She was found in a room at the Britannia Hotel in the city centre on March 6. A post mortem revealed that she died as a result of multiple knife wounds.
