The group from St Angela’s Ursuline School were involved in Step LIVE! which featured 350 young dancers aged between 11 and 18 years old.

The special performance was the culmination of the year-long Step into Dance which allowed 6,000 pupils from mainstream and SEN schools to take part in dance classes through a partnership between the Royal Academy of Dance and the Jack Petchey Foundation.

Sue Goodman, Step into Dance artistic and programme director, said: “The dancers have grown and developed so much. It is a real joy to see them perform on such a huge stage and really hold their own.

“The evening was so inspiring and uplifting and all the dancers did so incredibly well.”
