London Underground and Virgin Media will provide up-to-the-minute travel information, access to social media whilst they wait for their next train on the station platform or web browsing.

After testing the service should be available by the end of July.

Gareth Powell, London Underground’s Director of Strategy and Service Development, said: “The first stations include some of our busiest and most well-known destinations.”
