Family in West Ham escape wardrobe fire

A family in West Ham escaped a fire at their terraces house in West Ham after a wardrobe came alight.
Firefighters from Stratford Station were called to the fire in Upton Park Road at about 2.30 last Thursday. The family had evacuated the premises before their arrival and the fire was under control in about 10 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
